U.S. Special Operations Forces Deliver ‘Mind-Blowing’ Precision Strike Against Maduro in Venezuela

U.S. military forces executed a highly sophisticated operation targeting Venezuelan strongman Nicolás Maduro, according to Rep. Dan Crenshaw, a member of the House Intelligence Committee and former Navy SEAL.

Crenshaw described the mission as “mind-blowing,” highlighting months of meticulous planning and intelligence gathering that ensured the operation remained secret without leaks or public exposure.

“Training for months, figuring out exactly what that compound looks like, timing it just right — that’s what our special operations units and joint forces do better than anyone in the world,” Crenshaw stated.

The Texas Republican emphasized that such missions reflect the standard of elite U.S. military units, which routinely integrate intelligence, surveillance, and precise execution to achieve strategic objectives. He credited the operation’s success to coordination between special operations forces and broader joint military assets.

Crenshaw noted his personal connections to the region, having lived in Colombia and traveled extensively in Venezuela. He said the operation holds symbolic significance for Venezuelans who have fled their country due to economic collapse and political repression under Maduro’s rule.

The congressman acknowledged the mission’s secrecy, stating that the absence of leaks demonstrates both its sensitivity and the professionalism of those involved. “Practically speaking, it has to be kept very close-hold,” he said.

Crenshaw also stressed that such operations underscore America’s ability to project power decisively in the Western Hemisphere, with stability in neighboring countries being a core U.S. national security interest.

While noting that Navy SEALs were not involved, Crenshaw praised Delta Force personnel for carrying out what he called an “awesome op.”

The operation has faced criticism from some Democrats, but Crenshaw dismissed objections, asserting that elite military actions backed by careful intelligence planning are essential to U.S. foreign policy.
