Tennessee Representative John Rose stated on Tuesday that President Donald Trump is driving a robust American economic revival and will highlight significant gains in border security during his State of the Union address this evening.

“The president’s leadership has led to a strong resurgence in the economy,” Rose said. “We are seeing rising workforce participation, higher real incomes, and more money entering Americans’ pockets.”

Rose credited the administration’s tax policies and energy initiatives for lowering household costs: “The Greater Working Americans Tax Cuts Act and our energy strategies have helped families save money and bring inflation under control.”

With tax season underway, Rose noted tangible results. “The average refund has increased by 11%, and Tennesseans received over $11,000 per family of four through the Working Families Tax Cuts Act,” he said.

On border security, Rose emphasized President Trump’s rapid action: “Within less than three months, the president stopped illegal crossings at our southern border to zero. We have now had nine months with no catch and release operations.”

In foreign policy, Rose described eight global conflicts resolved and a renewed standing for America: “The administration has restored respect among allies and even adversaries.”

Looking ahead, Rose stated that President Trump will outline steps to address housing affordability by reducing institutional investors’ roles in home buying. “Restoring homeownership is critical,” he said.

Rose added that the president’s approach to economic growth remains effective for curbing inflation: “The president knows that robust economic expansion and increased supply of goods naturally help reduce inflation.”
