Rep. Glenn Grothman, R-Wis., stated on Saturday he plans to attend depositions of former President Bill Clinton and former Secretary of State Hillary Clinton before the House Oversight Committee on Thursday, February 26, and Friday, February 27, at their home in Chappaqua, New York.

Grothman noted that holding the depositions at the Clintons’ residence would limit committee attendance to 12 members. He expressed particular interest in Bill Clinton’s testimony, stating it would be “the more interesting of the two” due to Clinton’s historical associations with Jeffrey Epstein and recent developments.

“His name has come up a lot,” Grothman said. “There’s a whole bunch of things that have come out of late.”

Grothman highlighted that former President Clinton brought Epstein to the White House 17 times and flew on his private jet 26 times. He stated, “We’d like to find out what was discussed there, what was going on, what were his interactions with Ghislaine Maxwell,” adding, “And not to mention we’d like to know about other people that were there.”

Grothman emphasized the goal of identifying who knew about Epstein’s crimes during the depositions. He noted that Bill and Hillary Clinton “don’t have a reputation for being 100% honest under oath” and suggested future investigations might benefit from individuals more concerned with truthfulness.

He also plans to question Hillary Clinton specifically on Epstein’s involvement with the Clinton Foundation, asking: “Why were they bringing Jeffrey Epstein into this matter?” and “To what degree did his donations impact his relationship with Jeffrey Epstein and Ghislaine Maxwell?”

Grothman added that she may deny knowing Epstein but her heavy involvement in the foundation raises significant questions.
