Melania Trump announced Wednesday on X that her documentary titled “MELANIA” will premiere exclusively in theaters worldwide on January 30th, 2026. The film captures the pivotal 20 days of her life prior to the U.S. Presidential inauguration.

In a statement describing the project’s scope, Melania Trump said the film offers “a private, unfiltered look as I navigate family, business, and philanthropy” during her journey to becoming First Lady of the United States of America. The newly released trailer underscores this intense transition period, shifting scenes from inauguration imagery to preparations at Trump Tower, Mar-a-Lago, and Washington.

The trailer concludes with Melania taking a call from Donald Trump: “Hi Mr. President, congratulations!” she says. “Did you watch it?” he asks. Melania responds, “I did not, yeah, I will see it on the news.”

The 104-minute feature is set for release in theaters across North America, South America, Asia, Europe, Israel and the United Arab Emirates. Amazon reportedly purchased the film rights for $40 million. According to reports, Amazon founder Jeff Bezos took a personal interest in the documentary, strengthening his relationship with the Trumps.

The documentary, executive produced by Fernando Sulichin and Melania Trump with Brett Ratner attached to direct, provides viewers with rare direct access to this historic moment without mainstream media commentary.
