House Republicans’ Campaign Arm Surpasses $117 Million in Year-End Fundraising
Speaker Mike Johnson (R-La.) talks to reporters as he heads to the House Chamber for a series of votes, including the Senate budget resolution, on Wednesday, April 9, 2025. House Freedom Caucus members are still debating cuts to gain their votes for the resolution.
House Republicans’ campaign arm raised $24.3 million in the final quarter of 2025, finishing the year with a total of $117.2 million.
The National Republican Congressional Campaign Committee (NRCC) surpassed every recent off-year fundraising total except for 2021 — when Democrats held unified control of Congress — according to recent reports.
The NRCC brought in $13.7 million during December alone and ended the year with $50.7 million on hand, signaling strong momentum heading into the 2026 midterm election cycle.
The Democratic Congressional Campaign Committee (DCCC) has not yet released its fourth-quarter fundraising figures.
In the third quarter, the DCCC outraised the NRCC by pulling in $26.2 million compared to Republicans’ $24 million. However, Republicans outraised Democrats in September with a collection of $14 million versus Democrats’ $11.5 million.
The NRCC also achieved its first six-figure year-to-date fundraising advantage over Democrats in an off-year since 2015.
NRCC Chairman Rep. Richard Hudson (R-N.C.) stated, “House Republicans are entering 2026 with undeniable momentum and smashing fundraising records.”
He added that the committee is building resources to expand the GOP majority and win elections in November.
DCCC spokesperson Justin Chermol countered, “No amount of money can rescue this hopeless, directionless, and extreme House Republican majority.”
