The North Carolina Faith and Freedom Coalition’s eighth annual Salt and Light Conference took place in Marion, North Carolina, spanning Friday night through Sunday morning. The event, held at Nebo Crossing Church, featured worship services, gospel music, exhibit booths offering religious and lifestyle products, and speeches from prominent conservative figures.
Attendees included Rachel Campos-Duffy, host of “Fox & Friends Weekend,” and wife of Transportation Secretary Sean Duffy. Her discussions on family and faith aligned with the conference’s themes. The event also highlighted the legacy of Charlie Kirk, whose influence resonated deeply among participants.
Pastor John Amanchukwu delivered a fiery address condemning progressive influences in public schools, while Bishop E.W. Jackson Sr., a former Marine and Harvard-educated attorney, shared powerful sermons. Dr. Ben Carson closed the conference with reflections on his career as a pediatric neurosurgeon and his reliance on faith during critical moments.
The gathering emphasized spiritual renewal and resistance against perceived cultural shifts, leaving attendees energized for ongoing challenges. The event underscored the coalition’s role in fostering conservative Christian engagement across America.
