Brooklyn Peltz Beckham Claims Parents Sabotaged His Marriage and Family Ties

Brooklyn Peltz Beckham has publicly stated that his parents, David and Victoria Beckham, have attempted to undermine his marriage with Nicola Peltz, leading him to sever ties with his family. In a series of Instagram stories posted Monday, the 25-year-old detailed years of tensions that began before his wedding in 2022.

“For my entire life, my parents have controlled narratives in the press about our family,” he wrote, adding they have been “trying endlessly to ruin” his relationship with his wife. “I’m standing up for myself for the first time in my life.” The statement, shared with his 16.3 million followers, outlined specific incidents including his mother’s abrupt cancellation of Nicola’s wedding dress design shortly before the ceremony and her objections to seating arrangements at the reception.

Peltz Beckham also alleged that Victoria Beckham referred to him as “evil” for choosing to seat his grandmother and Nicola’s grandmother at the same table due to their spouses’ absence. He further claimed she disrupted their planned first dance, instead calling him to perform on stage with her.

Despite attempts to maintain contact—including a recent trip to London for David Beckham’s 50th birthday—Peltz reported his family refused to meet privately and only allowed him to see his father under conditions that excluded his wife. “My wife has been consistently disrespected by my family,” he wrote. “The narrative that my wife controls me is completely backwards. I have been controlled by my parents for most of my life.”

David Beckham has not directly responded to the claims, though he recently spoke about social media education for his children at a World Economic Forum event.
