Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene Emphasizes Accountability in Washington Amid Political Scrutiny

Rep. Marjorie Taylor Greene, R-Ga., reiterated her commitment to her role as a lawmaker, stating her focus remains on holding both political parties accountable. Speaking to Newsmax, Greene addressed questions about her political ambitions, noting that her current mission is to fulfill her duties as a representative.

“I’ve always been focused on the job I have right now,” Greene said when asked about her plans. “People are questioning my intentions since I appeared on Bill Maher’s show and ‘The View,’ but my priority is serving my district.”

Greene highlighted her 2020 campaign, during which she criticized both Republicans and Democrats for failing to address the needs of ordinary Americans. She cited Washington’s leadership as a key contributor to the nation’s $38 trillion debt, emphasizing that neither party has delivered meaningful results.

“Both parties have contributed to this crisis,” Greene said. “My goal has always been to advocate for the ‘forgotten men and women’ in my Georgia district who feel neglected by D.C.”

Greene’s remarks underscore her ongoing efforts to challenge what she describes as systemic failures in Congress, regardless of party affiliation.
