Political commentator Michael Savage criticized the Republican Party for what he called an expanding “toxic” element of antisemitism, accusing former conservative figure Tucker Carlson of endorsing white supremacist rhetoric through an interview with political agitator Nick Fuentes.

Savage told “Carl Higbie FRONTLINE” that Carlson’s decision to speak with Fuentes—whom he labeled a “KKK Nicolas Fuentes guy”—was akin to “seeing the KKK resurrected.” He argued that Fuentes masked white supremacy under Christian rhetoric and promoted antisemitism, stating, “This is not MAGA [Make America Great Again].”

Savage claimed Carlson responded by asserting, “Blood guilt is not a Christian concept,” prompting Savage to retort, “Well, you try being on the receiving end of it anyway, Tucker.” He warned that the Republican Party was facing a “new Reich” and described the situation as increasingly volatile.

At the Republican Jewish Coalition conference, Senator Ted Cruz, R-Texas, condemned rising antisemitism on the political right, linking it to online extremism and foreign propaganda. Cruz stated he had encountered more antisemitic rhetoric in six months than in his lifetime, calling it a “poison” that required clear moral boundaries. He emphasized the need for Republicans to defend America’s alliance with Israel, declaring, “Those who hate Jews hate Christians.”

Savage added that he had never witnessed such intense “Jew hatred” as what he described as current manifestations of antisemitism.
