The White House unveiled a website compiling details on nearly 150 individuals deemed illegal immigrants who allegedly received Medicaid benefits unlawfully. The platform was launched to draw attention to Democratic demands for reinstating healthcare coverage for undocumented migrants during the ongoing government shutdown.

“Democrats have obstructed passage of a clean budget bill to end the shutdown, insisting on $1.5 trillion in new spending, including expanding Medicaid to over 1 million illegal aliens,” the White House stated. “This would allocate an additional $200 billion to such programs over the next decade, diverting resources from U.S. families.”

The site features mugshots of 140 individuals, with at least 15 arrested on murder charges and nine facing allegations of child sex crimes. The federal government remains closed as Senate efforts to advance a short-term funding bill collapsed for the 13th time, ending in a 54-45 vote—five votes short of overcoming a filibuster.

Three Democratic senators—John Fetterman, Catherine Cortez Masto, and Angus King—supported the measure alongside Republicans, while Senator Rand Paul opposed the continuing resolution. Democrats are also pushing for permanent extensions of Affordable Care Act subsidies set to expire at year’s end, deepening the stalemate that has sustained the shutdown for four weeks.
