Journey keyboardist and guitarist Jonathan Cain has released a new solo single titled “No One Else,” paying tribute to conservative leader Charlie Kirk, who was fatally shot during a campus speaking engagement in Utah on September 10.

Cain shared an Instagram preview of the track, calling it an homage to the late Turning Point USA co-founder. He wrote, “A voice that inspired a generation. A legacy that will never fade,” and announced the song’s release with the message, “‘No One Else’ — written in honor of Charlie Kirk— drops soon. Get ready to feel every word.”

In an interview on the Christian podcast “Strang Report,” where the full song was premiered, Cain described Kirk as a figure who “rocked the world” through his commitment to “righteousness, truth and the gospel,” comparing him to evangelist Billy Graham. He emphasized Kirk’s influence, stating, “Not since Billy Graham has anybody rocked the world like Charlie… he was.”

The track’s title reflects how many of Kirk’s supporters described him after his death, with Cain noting, “We need an appreciation song for what he did.” He added, “‘No One Else’ — no one else could wear the mantle,” highlighting Kirk’s “strong calling” and God’s use of him “in such a powerful way.”

Though no personal connection between Cain and Kirk has been publicly documented, the tribute underscores Kirk’s impact on those who admired his work. The song’s release coincides with Turning Point USA’s continued efforts to advance its mission following Kirk’s murder. The organization has confirmed its fall campus tour will proceed as planned, featuring actor Rob Schneider and author Frank Turek.

Tyler James Robinson, the 22-year-old accused of killing Kirk, faces potential capital punishment if convicted of the charges against him. Robinson has yet to enter a plea, with his legal team seeking more time to review evidence ahead of the next court hearing.
