Minneapolis Signal Groups Allegedly Coordinated to Impede Federal Immigration Operations

An investigation by conservative independent journalist Cam Higby has identified at least two Democrat Minnesota state officials and a former campaign adviser to Gov. Tim Walz, Amanda Koehler, as “admins” and “dispatchers” in a leaked Signal group chat used to track and impede federal immigration operations in the state.
Higby wrote on X that he infiltrated organizational signal groups throughout Minneapolis with the sole intention of tracking down federal agents and obstructing their work. He stated each area of the city has a signal or multiple signals, which are dated and deleted at the end of each day to avoid detection, recordkeeping, and consequences.
Higby shared videos showing individuals he claimed were members of the groups. Some have speculated that an admin identified as “Flan” on Signal is Minnesota Lt. Governor Peggy Flanagan, potentially linking the group chat to state government operations.
Wisconsin GOP Rep. Derrick Van Orden described reports of Flanagan’s involvement as “an actual insurrection,” while Utah Sen. Mike Lee questioned on social media, “What are the odds that the Minneapolis insurrection is being fueled by federal funding?”
This activity coincides with heightened tensions following the fatal shooting of Alex Pretti by a Border Patrol agent in Minneapolis and the prior incident where ICE agent Jonathan Ross fatally shot Renee Nicole Good. U.S. Department of Homeland Security data indicates ICE law enforcement officers now face more than 1,300% increases in assaults, 3,200% increases in vehicular attacks, and 8,000% increases in death threats.
