Trump Claims ‘Perfect Health’ and Demands Mandatory Cognitive Exams for Future Presidents
President Donald Trump again touted his “perfect” overall health, asserting that all presidential candidates should undergo mandatory cognitive examinations to ensure they are not “stupid or incompetent.”
In a recent post on Truth Social, Trump stated White House doctors have reported he is in “PERFECT HEALTH” and has “ACED” his cognitive examination for the “third straight time”—a result he claims no other president or vice president has voluntarily achieved.
The former president criticized the media’s focus on his age of 79 and physical condition, contrasting it with the former administration of Joe Biden. During a Cabinet meeting, Trump remarked: “If I go one day … ‘There’s something wrong with the president,’ you people are crazy.”
Trump detailed his health regimen, including daily consumption of a 325-milligram aspirin for 25 years and reporting improvements in ankle swelling—diagnosed as chronic venous insufficiency—that he attributes to increased physical activity. He also noted that formal workouts are not part of his routine beyond golf.
Regarding medical imaging, Trump’s team clarified he did not undergo an MRI during a Walter Reed visit in October but received a CT scan, which ruled out cardiovascular issues and showed no abnormalities.
