The White House is strongly denying reports suggesting President Donald Trump wants to remove Department of Homeland Security Secretary Kristi Noem from her position due to concerns regarding the employment of her unpaid adviser, Corey Lewandowski.

A spokesperson for the administration dismissed these claims as false news.

> “Secretary Noem is doing a great job putting into action the priorities we discussed during our conversations,” said White House press secretary Abigail Jackson.

She added: >”This ‘report’ and its source are completely fabricated.”

The alleged report from The Bulwark newspaper stated that an anonymous former DHS official claimed Trump was pleased with Kristi Noem’s work but considered removing her because of the employment of Corey Lewandowski, a temporary, unpaid adviser.

> “They’re employing him? That’s why? Because he’s part of this big plan for immigration reform?” asked one anonymous source.

The informant went on to say: >”Things are messed up.”

Furthermore, an individual familiar with the situation described how concerns were raised about Lewandowski being a problem and that the department was mismanaged due to his influence. They noted that Trump had reportedly approved of Noem but was apprised of these issues.

Lewandowski has denied these accusations in response to them directly from The Bulwark.

> “None of this is true,” he stated firmly, countering the claims made by anonymous officials.

This situation highlights internal personnel dynamics within the administration and raises questions about how such advisory roles are managed under high-level government positions.
